Where are you licensed?

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. To work together, you'll need to be physically located in one of these states during our sessions.

Is everything online?

Yes. The practice is fully telehealth. Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space and a stable connection.

How often will we meet?

Most clients begin weekly. Consistency is what allows the work to deepen. As things stabilize, some clients move to every other week.

Do you take insurance?

Untapped Therapy is a private pay practice, which means no insurance panels, no pre-authorization, no limits on your care. That said, many insurance plans include out-of-network benefits, which means you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your sessions. I've partnered with Mentaya to make that process simple: they'll verify your benefits and handle claim submission on your behalf. It takes just a few minutes to see what your plan covers.

What does a consult call like?

It's 15 minutes, free, by phone or video. You tell me a little about what's bringing you in, I tell you how I work, and we both decide if it feels like a fit. No pressure either way.

Do you prescribe medication?

Accepted Answer

No. Counselors don't prescribe. If medication is something you'd like to explore, I'm glad to refer you to trusted psychiatric providers.

What if I'm in crisis?
